As Latino communities across the United States continue to be disproportionately impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Hispanic Federation announced its third round of grants, over $2.75 million to 151 Latino community-based nonprofits serving vulnerable families and individuals across 22 states and Washington D.C. and Puerto Rico.

Hispanic Federation urges US Senate to pass 2020 Census Deadline Extension Act

Today, Hispanic Federation, one of the nation’s leading organizations dedicated to supporting and empowering the Hispanic community, offered its strong support of the bipartisan 2020 Census Deadline Extension Act, introduced by Sens. Brian Schatz (D-Hawai‘i), Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska), and Dan Sullivan (R-Alaska) which would restore the 2020 Census field count operation deadline to October 31, 2020.
