As we remember the massacre that took place at an El Paso Walmart store on August 3, 2019, we must continue to combat hateful rhetoric against immigrants and Latinos. We must mourn the 23 lives violently taken on that day and honor survivors by demanding an end to the violence fueled by racism, xenophobia, and falsehoods, and by stopping the spread of hate across the nation.

Hispanic Federation Condemns Judge Hanen’s Ruling on DACA, Calls on Congress to Provide Pathway to Citizenship for Dreamers and Other Undocumented Immigrants

Hispanic Federation condemns the ruling released today by the U.S. District Court Judge Andrew Hanen blocking the approval of any new applications for the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, which has helped more than 640,000 undocumented people who came to the U.S. as children live, work, and study in the country lawfully.
